    Default Look what I found!

    Got this at a locale antique store today. Needs some work but the price was right. I have a Wade and Butcher I purchased in similar condition awhile back. Not sure why the heavy blade makes people reach for the 80 grit sand paper.

    I hate when sellers try to clean them up, like that. Just that much more work I have to do, if they didn't destroy it

    I hardly ever step above 400 grit, and I sand by hand. And that's only if a blade is worth sanding.
