Silver Steel Warranted
Here's one I dug out that I've had for a few years. I don't know if i ever showed it but if not, here it is. I had to get my loupe to see if it has been honed and it looks like it has maybe once because there are some very slight marks on it. Other than that, it's in excellent shape. It says Silver Steel Warranted on it and appears to be from the Queen Victoria era, anywhere from 1837-1901

Thanked: 1081Nice, Steve. Doesn't look like any hone wear and the scales look brand new.

Mark, yes it does. It's in very good shape. I had to use my loupe to see very, very little hone wear but it almost appears as none on it. The scales are in excellent shape.

That is a nice razor that looks practically new. Thanks for sharing.

I never even touched up the writing on the scales. They do have some very minor bug bites along the edge on one side.

Thanked: 315Looks great! I have a few I want to add gold paint (or rub n buff?) too eventually. I like seeing old scales revived.

Id just shave with it. Nothing wrong with a little roughness from age.
