Antique store finds
I was out with the wife checking out a local Antique store and ran across 5 straights.
The top one is Markered B.K. Co in 3 circles. I hadn't seen this stamp before so I have no clue about it. Feels and looks German-made. Next to no hone wear and a tiny bevel. Like it hasn't had much use. I paid 25.00 for it. Less than what I could have paid on the bay.
The bottom razor is a Simmons, The Cwlibrated with barber notch. It has broken scales at the wedge end but I might be able to come up with something for it or just replace the scales. It has no hone wear and minimal rust at the pivot. Because of the broken scale, I got it for 5.00.
So out of the five, I got two decent razors for a total of 30 bucks. The others were junk so I left them to collect dust.
If anyone knows about the makers' mark on this BK Co please let me know. I found a couple for sale on eBay listings but no info. Thanks. So when I get two hands back working I will have a little razor work to do.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Thanked: 315Nice finds. I haven't been in any shops in....a while.
I like razors with lesser known names on them.
If you want to fix it the scale, I probably have black pen blank I could cut a chunk off of and send you.- Joshua
