Thanked: 81Charnley Forest and Salmen stone
I received these today, a Charnley Forest and another UK stone. I bought them off of the kitchen knife forum, but I believe the member is here on SRP as well.
I've been casually looking for a CF for a while now, so when this popped up I jumped on it. It's quite a lot larger than most I've seen, roughly 8" x 2" x 1".
He also offered me this other stone which I took. The provenance is not certain, but probably sold by AB Salmen, possibly a silkstone. It's hard and fine, and a nice size, although thin (8" x 2" x 1/3").
I'm looking forward to testing these stones out!
