I got mine today. I still have yet to shave today, but I am gonna be using it in about an hour. ((tick-tock-tick-tock)) I will do a longer post after the shave to let you all know how it went.

    And the time goes by:

O.K. so an a bit over an hour has passed, and I have just had a WONDERFUL shave. The extra weight of the stainless scales made for a much different shave then I am use to. However, I have to say that I LOVED it! All I did was give it about 20 goes on the strop, and it shaved like a dream. No pulling, or tugging. Just a smooth glide over the face.

Bottom line: If you dont have one already, you need to get one. This would make the perfect razor to take camping, on trips. It is all steel, so there is no chance of breaking it. And it shaves a treat!

    Don't you believe it...
The United States post office has found a way...
I think they ran this one over with a forklift...
    It's a good thing I bought extras...
The funny thing about this, is the recipient is only about a 90 minute drive from me, I could have driven it to him faster, and it would have been in better shape...

The broken Wapi wasn't his, it was someone else's...
What happens is I send out a replacement as fast as I can and then go and chew out the post office...
How the hell did they do it?
    They even bent the scales...

You guys didn't pay for a service, you paid for a result, the result is a shave ready Wapi, and that is what I will deliver.

I've been wetshaving for years, but I'm a newbie to str8's. I just ordered one of Mike's Wapi's. Between this kind of attitude toward service, and the level of positive feedback here, I'm glad I've ordered mine, AND IT'S NOT EVEN HERE YET! Normally I would think that is kind of foolish, but in this case, it just makes me happy. Looking forward to it!

This one looks like it might bite a little - make sure you use lots of alumn afterwards.

Mine came yesterday. I gave it 25 laps on just the leather and shaved. (2 passes WTG, XTG) 18 hours later & I still look presentable!
Smoothest damn shave ever. Never once pulled uncomfortably and I have a verrry tough beard! I highly recommend Mike's Wapis & will probably pick up another before too long!
