Thread: Antique Store Finds (4/17)

First, I'd like to say hello. I'm new here and this is my first post.

I stopped at a few antique stores on the way home from work. While the deals weren't amazing (I didn't find anything but Schick Injectors for $7) they were ok. I'm happy with the two I bought.

First up a 5/8 Wade & Butcher Special in excellent condition:






Second is a Case Temperite 4/8. Scales are trashed, but for the $10 I paid it's totally worth it for the steel. I think it's a good candidate for a custom scale job. Anyone wanna help?





What do you all think? Any advice on having them honed/rescaled would be great. Thanks!

Nice find. They should clean up well, and both are quality brands, so some new scales and a hone would make them great lookers and shavers.
