Thanked: 1Gottlieb Score
So I sniped this off of eBay last night. Looks to be in quite excellent condition, and will hopefully be my first real shaver, once I get it honed.
So I know there's a whole thread for the shoulderless shavers, but I'm curious and couldn't find the info. Is there any difference in how a shoulderless razor shaves, or the technique used to shave with it?
I'll post more pics as soon as I get it in, and please leave me your opinions!!

Thanked: 1Just got the Gottlieb in, so here's some more questions, *cough* erm pictures. ^_^
So I can't seem to determine if that is a chip out of the blade or if that's just the way that the point is. It seems like it's the way the blade is due to a small upturn in the honing that is already on the razor, but I'm not sure that that really means anything.
This about a 6/8 Gottlieb, made in Solignen, has that on one side of the tang with '27' on the other. It has a very very slight smile. I did an arm hair cut test, and it cuts that quite easily, though it didn't split the hanging hair. Think it needs a hone?
I'm quite happy with this one, and can't wait to hopefully get it shave ready!
