Thread: antique store find

Decided that I needed to visit our local antique mall Today was the first time I've been in it in 4 or 5 years. Upon entering I asked the cashier if they had any straight razors. I was told that they had had a run on them of late and that they were all sold out. I then asked about strops, mugs and hats (hey, gotta keep em honest). He replied that they had a few mugs sitteing around here and there.So off I went to browse the store.....this antique mall is huge. I got halway up the aisle and the cashier caught up with me and said, he rememberd where one shaving mug wasand that he would get it for me.. I bought the mug and brush for 10.00.

I don't know anything about either the brush or mug, no names on either one. Although the brush does appear to be from the 30's or 40's. The handle is all plastic, cream with red accents. Does anyone know anything about who made this brush or mug? The Brush appears to have a stylized H under the "Made in USA"
