Thread: Thanks Lynn and Don! SRD Order #3 Arrived!!

My first order from Straight Razor Designs arrived today...A 7/8 Livi Takeda with stag scales.

It's absolutely beautiful. Pictures really can't capture how nice the finish on this razor is. I couldn't wait to test it out so I stropped it up and had a shave within minutes of receiving it. Fantastic! It was really a joy to use. I love the scales and blade itself isn't too shabby either.

Onto the shave...extremely close and very comfortable. Awesome! Anyway, enough blabbing, here are some picks below. Sorry about the quality, I'm not much of a photographer.

My first and second order from Straight Razor Design came yesterday afternoon (4 & 9)

When I opened the oblong package, I couldn't believe what I seen. Each item was individually wrapped with white butcher paper and packed with shipping peanuts as well.

The eight (8) Truefit and Hill products are fantastic (tried two of them already) I am a Truefit and Hill convert from this day forward.

In addition, the Livi regrind razor was in the shipment to. Sorry I do not have pictures. It's a 6/8, half hallow, carbon steel, round point razor with Buckeye Burl scales. It's beautiful without doubt. Being an ex-ohio boy, seeing those bucheye scales was almost a commandment to buy. BTW the razor came shave ready, AND it shaved like a dream. It's perfectly balanced, good heft, and I couldn't be more pleased.
