    Default L R Harner Custom

Yesterday was a bad day. I dropped one of my favorite razors and got a huge chip in the blade. with a crack that went half way through the blade.

Butch came rescued my mood by sending pics of the custom I had ordered from him.

That put an end to the RAD I felt as a result from my mishap and helped the day end on a positive note!

The blade is 15/16 with Ti scales and a spalted maple burl spacer.

If Butch feels like adding more construction details or post post- honing pictures, feel free!

Wow, that is a gorgeous piece of wood! I like the pattern of the blade as well. Do you pattern weld your own steel? I like your site too, its coming along nice.

Great! I really like how the bright edge sets off the rest of the blade!

    Default Yes Sir!

Saw a similar blade by Mr. Harner at the SE gathering and it was amazing. The bevel was so wide I could have used it as a shaving mirror! Beautiful work and high craftsmanship within a very unique design. That would take away a year of chips and rust for me!

I'm a huge fan of his work. Mostly knives but razors as well.
