    This is the G3, which is the molded version. The top and the spout had to be altered slightly to accomodate the lid though. I have used the G2 also and found that the bottom of the scuttle did not heat up. The G3 is much better for keeping the lather and brush warm. The lid aids alot in heat retention too.
