Thanked: 9I own a custom acid-etched JE razor and it is awesome - I absolutely love it! It mows down the whiskers. He does have a great future and he runs his business in a great manner. One week after I received my razor, I accidentally nicked the edge on the sink faucet and Josh said to send it back to him and he repaired it for free. That is service, especially when I caused the problem.
He has always been very responsive and helpful!
That is a great razor you have and I would like to have him make me another one!

I've done business with Josh, too. (I'm on my second project with him.) And he is always top notch!
By the way...I absolutely drool over his acid-etched razors. I want one so badly! (There was an AWESOME custom acid-etched spike point in the BST forum a while ago. It's my dream razor! Too bad I won't afford one for a long, long time.)

Hey, guys, thanks for all the kind words. I've been slacking on razor stuff lately, trying to get caught up with some of my other freelance work while I wait for my long overdue "real" forge to arrive... (I'm hoping to get it next week, ending about three months of torture...) Once I get it, I'm hoping to be back to banging razors out at a good clip.
This razor has a zebrawood handle, finished in poured epoxy. The blade is forged carbon steel, differentially treated and polished to bring out the hamon.
You guys are great--I've never had a sour transaction with my SRP brethren.
Have a great day,
Josh

I really like the solid look of the scales + zebrano is my favourite wood look-wise.
Nice job!

Thanked: 0I want more
This razor really does look great. I would love to see more of Mr. Earl's work. Does he have a website? Google did not provide it.
Thanks,
Zack
