    Default What is it?

    While securing all of the sharp and pointy objects, I came across this item in one of our "junk" drawers. Is it a knife with a smile,(I've never seen a knife with a smile like this) or is it a razor? I found out later what it is, but thought it might be fun to see what the good people on SRP think.

    My vote would be a "Patch" knife for cutting a rifle patch for a muzzleloader....

    But then again my S/N shows where my brain lies

    Thought maybe we might get a few more to venture their opinion lol. You were close, it's a knife my Dad made.

    Looks like a Patch Knife to me. I shoot a black powder muzzleloader!!!

    These are flat ground blades and not razors except in profile. They are good steel and I have one I made 20 years ago in the kitchen drawer still doing daily service.
