Heinrich L. Thäter 4292/6 28 mm Brush Cocobolo
Ordered a big size (28 mm knot) brush from the acclaimed Heinrich L. Thäter. I asked for a cocobolo handle. Ordering is done through email as there is no online store on their website.
I asked them how to pay, never heard back. This morning, the express mail guy shows up with a package. It contains the brush, the stand, and a (free) piece of sandalwood soap. And the invoice Last time I got an invoice (from a company I'm not familiar with) without prior payment must have been in the eighties.
The brush itself looks good: brass base with nickel plating, waxed cocobolo, huge silver tip knot. The hair doesnt stink like it usually does but has a very faint soap smell. Soaks up huge amount of water and produces ridiculously large amounts of lather. Way over the top

LOL, nope, sorry. Clicking the British flag will only get you an image with their mission statement, the site is in German only, apparantly. Why dont you try a google translate? It's a bit rough but usually gets the message across.
234 EUR all in. The brush was around 180 EUR, the stand about 30, the rest shipping. This is for their biggest best brush; they also have more reasonably priced smaller brushes.
No; now that you mention it, I told them in a message that I can wire them the money, as I didnt see an online shop with CC or PP logos and as that is the most commonly used method of payment in Germany.
