    Default Soaps and Creams sampler

My oldest daughter got me this sampler from "The Shave Den".It's another shaving forum. They have a store section and if you go to samples, you can pick from a wide variety of soaps and creams to try. They are about a buck apiece and you get a nice sized sample.About a heaping teaspoon.I thought the new guys could benefit from this but also anyone who wants to try a bunch of stuff without laying money out for the whole tub.I'm really enjoying them.
I also got some soap samples from The Gentlemen's Quarter.Went to the Dollar store and got these little bowls(3 for a buck)to put the soaps in temporarily.Works for me and cheap.

Edit:they come in these containers, the larger ones are the soaps.

    Christmas continues for me...

Started out with the Dovo Ebony 5/8 Silver Steel
Picked up a Herold Strop with the padded handle
A new mug, then a bunch of soaps and creams from Classic, Porasso, and C&E. I've heard of RAD and HAD, but anyone else feel like they've got SAD?

Now they had to go and put that review of Stephen's brushes on the front page, and now a super-late xmas from me to me: 24mm Silver Tip with an Ebony handle

Well for Christmas my daughters got me this (after me begging cannonfodder to part with it)

It's the best shave I've had yet, which is always good when buying something that looks great without knowing how it'll shave for you. I'm very happy with it and would use it daily if not for me trying to develop some technique with some of my others right now.

I have a Birthday coming up next month, I anticipate it being VERY good (maybe due to the fact that I already got a pearl handled torrey that just needs honing and I have a big w&b on its way to get scales).

My wife is sweet, but God bless her doesn't take any interest at all in my interests (probably good as she doesn't know nearly how bad I am) and wouldn't know the right thing to get me. in the past I've tried giving her lists, I just gave up.
