Nice pictures. I am looking forward to your impressions after first use. Isn't Tony a pleasure to do business with? I think so. I hope to visit his shop and meet him some day. Maybe I can arrainge our sommer vacation to pass by his shop? My 2 1/2 came yesterday but I won't get to see it until the 24th since it is a gift from the family.

Yes, he was very helpful and quick to respond. You're right, I shouldnt take this as a given, but I have yet to be disappointed by the fine ladies and gentlemen who run wet shaving accessories businesses.

The craftsmanship on this strop is truly first class: the leather and linen are thick and well cut (no fuzzies) and the hardware is high grade stuff as well. Even the slots in the bolts heads are aligned to enhance the visual harmony further. The only way I could be disappointed is if I accidentally damaged it!

OK here is something I have no knowledge of since I have never used a triple strop... Could somebody please explain what you do with the extra strop when you are using the center strop... Do you tie it back???
I am just not seeing how it doesn't flop around ??????

Am I missing something really obvious????

Actually, it's very simple: you use the linen, then fold it over to the side and use the Latigo.

Now the latigo and horsehide are mounted in opposite directions. To use the horsehide after the latigo, you dont fold the latigo over, but twist the strop 180°!
