Thread: New LR Harner

Just got this the other day also from Straight Razor Designs, it is a 6/8" Damascus in titanium g10 scales, The first thing I noticed when I got it was the feel unlike any other straight razor and somewhat like a top dollar pocket knife, even opening it has a very tight feel extreme precision in the fit and finsih it just feels great in the hand either opened or closed. The titanium is very light the orange material also acts as a 3rd pin blade rest if you look very carefully inside it when closed. It did need touched up on arrival on pasted paddle and cr02 but once dialed in it removed the hair on my forearms with ease. As important it handles honing, stropping and shaving great and is in fact a great shaver I have had other razors that had metal scales that I wouldn't use as they were uncomfortable to either strop, hone or shave not this razor it is perfect, I have shaved with it twice now it is a great shaver and will be in my rotation. If you are thinking of getting an LR Harner razor I say do it now before his razors start commanding the higher premium prices as they are worth it. I am sure this won't be my last LR Harner
