    Default Tony Miller Tri-Strop

I received my new 2" Tony Miller tri-strop today and it is simply fantastic!
The strop has 3 components: Cotton,Latigo and horsehide. I was previously using one of Tony's 3" horsehide strops but it just seemed to wide for me.
The 2" suits me much better and the smaller size doesn't matter since I strop in an X pattern anyway.

I do hope that crafting all these tri-strops isn't limiting the overall number of strops that TM can produce.

That is one SERIOUS looking strop! Very nice. But I was just wondering, how do you strop on the middle piece of leather without the one on top getting in the way? Do you have to clip it to the top to get it out of the way first?

The Linen is on top and then the Red Latigo. The Horsehide is the third but is mounted opposite. It is done that way so you can turn the Tri-Strop over and use it without folding over the Linen and Latigo. The swivel snap on top makes this possible. One of Tonys concerns was the Linen strop interfering with the full use of the Latigo. I can assure you that is not the case. The Linen being quite pliable it "flips" over and hangs out of the way with ease.
