    Default Some Italian Razor...

... came today. Dried oil or something on the blade and green paste traces on the tang. Sloppy as expected.

That name rings a bell. Is it one from the "Razors to avoid list"?

Still. It looks very nice indeed!

Name? What name? - I didnt mention any names to avoid lawsuits and such.

More seriously, yes, I like the look of the bocote with the damascus Unfortunately, the DHL guy came just a couple of hours after I had shaved with my hi_bud_gl-honed super sharp blade, so it will have to wait until tomorrow

That's nonsense man! With a razor like that there's always more to shave! If that arrived on my doorstep in the same circumstances I'd have done my legs with it! I'd just be too excited not to shave something. Congratulations on your aquisition. It really is beautiful.

I love the uneven jimps, shows they were cut by a human rather than a machine.
Very nice. A bit glam for me, but what a piece of work.
Pray tell, How many beer tokens did it cost?

I guess it being "glam" is kind of the point of buying one of these. To remove facial hair, a $50 shave ready cleaned ebay razor from the classifieds here would have sufficed. In fact, I bought it to show it off here! Just kidding, I wanted a nice looking one in addition to the efficient ones I already have.
