5/8 Otto Deutsch HANS

5/8 (11/16) Otto Deutsch with round point. It had no hone wear but rust ate 1/32'' of its edge in middle of the blade. I restored its keenness with King 800 and BBW/Coticule combo and am going to shave with it tonight.

It cleaned up quite nicely except for a few stains that look worse in the picture than in reality.

Thank you, gents. After a BBS, I can tell that HANS *is* a very sweet shaver indeed.

It is also my only razor that rings. It rings on strop or when shaving hair off my arm. The steel feels different than my other razors and shaves "effortlessly".

Recently bought one from Maximilian. Yes, it does ring, and it also shaves very well. Apart, of course, from being a real looker. So much so that I went and got a stand for it.
