Default Some of my new(ish) razors

Below are four razors I recently acquired from SRP members (really big pictures in the links, and the blades have a mirror polish, obscured by oil residue):

    1. Joseph Rodgers & Sons wedge with ivory scales from Sharp & Shiny
    2. Dovo Bergischer Löwe singing full hollow, also from Sharp & Shiny
    3. Thomas Ibbotson wedge from coully with black horn scales made by the venerable Joe Chandler
    4. Otto Deutsch's Hans singing full hollow from Max

They are all in great or excellent condition, and shave well. I initially traded the Bergischen Löwe for some 4/8ths razors against the advice of a well known egregious member of the chat crazies, if only to stop Sharp & Shiny from calling it Begrisher Lowe. Since then, I have found out that it is a fantastic shaver.

And here is a piece of advice for beginners: Get a razor from SRP's classifieds section. You will not regret it. All razors were as advertised or better, and the members who sold or traded them went out of their ways to help me out with any questions (like "Simon, would you mind terribly shipping a container of razors and stones to Europe thankyouverymuch?"). The friendliness of this forum never ceases to amaze me. Thank you, Simon, Paul, Joe, and Max (in no particular order, mind you)!

They all look great, but i've always been particularly fond of the Bergischer Lowe's & the Ibbotson looks very nice!

What a nice set of razors! Both Otto and Loewe are great lookers. Loewe is definitely on my shopping list...
