    Default New rock on there way...

    Hmmm.....
    New rocks on there way to Denmark :-)

    First this vintage Durum hone (I'm not going to eat it) Length about 325 mm, length ca. 200 mm Stone.
    I got if of the German ebay site....
    Anyone know of this brand?

    Second one is this babe :-) An Escher & Co. well the pictures did not look that promising, but I just HAD to get me one.

    I'll keep you posted as the rocks arrive...

    I don't know about the Durum but the Escher ought to clean up nicely once you lap it. Good score.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    Nice grab on that escher. I'm sure it'll look mighty fine after it's cleaned up and lapped. Be sure to post more pics of in the future when it's all pretty!

    The Escher came in the other day, so heres the photos of it lapped and worked on.
    I put on nail polish at the rare side to secure the label that's why it looks darker

    Gotta tell that this was my first experience with an Escher this size and WOW it does a super job!!!

    So the hone has no colour tag, will you Gents please come forward with your knowledge :-)

    It is so hard to tell from photos but it looks like a yellow/green to me. Really doesn't matter if it is doing a great job.
