    Default ERN'd on the Bay

I had a successful bid for an ERN Razor on eBay. I haven't gotten it yet, but couldn't wait to put it up.
I bought it to go with the one below which I bought from Izlat.

The question in my mind is should I continue down this road and look for more or quit while I am ahead? There are a couple of others coming up. Neither is in as good of shape as these.

I have 1 ERN razor in my small collection. I picked it up for a decent price from an antique store. It's not as fancy as the ones in your picture, and I had to replace the scales, but it honed up VERY nicely and have given me very satisfying shaves.

    Enjoy.

I was watching that one and one on a Czech auction site that seems to be a tad bigger than yours. It has one day to go and currently commands ~$90.

I spent that money on an 8/8 Wosty so no ERN for me this time.

I have been trying to figure a way to search a little wider, but have had trouble much beyond France, Belgium, Great Britain and Germany.

I have an ERN and it is beautiful. Shaved with it today and damn. Damn fine razor. Beautiful faux ivory handle painted with a pea**** on it too. Now I have to see how much I would be willing to part with it for... : | Or if I even want to part with it...

I kind of performed a feat of logic today. I told my wife that by not buying the 2 ERN razors I was following I had essentially payed for a new Dovo red Bismarck. She agreed.

    I am impressed!

Well, I'm so attached to the ERN I have that I decided upon the arbitrary price of $150. Then I looked at the ebay auctions and found out $150 is pretty damn cheap for the condition mine is in.

Those things sell for a ton of cash. I guess Wald is as desirable as DD? Although, I must admit that there is something adorable about the two little duckies on the ducks.
