There is nothing like the feel of nicely polished ivory. That one is a keeper and looks like a good shaver too! Well, tomorrow I will get out my camera and we can put some more lovely ivory beauties up for viewing. I have a hard time photographing ivory due to it''s high reflectivity. Any tips on how to reduce the glare, as you did so well in the preceding photos?
Thank you.

Thanked: 156Hmm... I use an OTT-lamp that is basically overhead of the razor (use it for reading)(I do more reading then razor resto....
) Anyway, what I did with this razor was prop it up against the cup, used the coin to make sure it wouldn't slide and it seemed to help with the glare. Yup, experimenting just now, angling the ivory 45* or so from the overhead light cuts the glare.

I'm glad you like it, I love the way ivory feels.
I sure hope it isn't warp, I don't remember seeing any warpage. but I'll tell you what, your photography is better than mine, seems just about everybodies is. I really need some good lighting.
I saw the best lamp I think for this, at the tattoo parlor last monday, it was a round flourescent with an incandescent in the middle.
