Default 7/8 dubl duck Goldedge 10.80$

Well it has junk scales but is a nice resto blade... this one was spoted by a good friend for me so I told him ahhh yeah go-ahead it might be worth 12$ he got it for $10.80 LOL. I buffed it some but it still has some what looked to be orginal scratches (was under the gold) anyway do you guys think its worth it?

I can't see the photos from this computer (govt one has site blocked) but a 7/8 duck is pretty rare so if its in good condition even if its re-scaled (perhaps you could get some goldedge scales from a razor with a trashed blade on ebite or something) it should be worth far more than $10.80.

At worst once you rescale it you'll have a great shaver.

Well the pins and washers are a little big for my taste but Its all I could find local and I didnt want to wait (dying to try it out). It also needs to be sanded and cleared again too. I should have maybe waited but I have a browed camera so...you know.
I hope to find some original Goldedge scales one day I have always loved the cracked ice I think it makes the WE,GE'S.

Original scales or not, that duck looks amazing! You got a great steal on that one. Looks like it's time to take that little duckie out for a test fly.

Thank's guys! I just finished honing/stroping (took a edge keen and fast) it and a quik lather only shave. I must say it lives up to the reputation! I have always figured they were good but maybe overated and some of the prices may be a bit... but the shaves are not overated its a real sweety.

I have read about DD's being magnatized and this one is so strong it makes my computer screen twist if it even gets close. Are all DD's maged? This q might be better asked in anoher forum.
