Default Had this sitting around for awhile

Had this old meat chopper and this paddle strop w/ a razor storage compartment laying around for the longest time. Finally got them both ready for action. The razor is a Wosty ,full 15/16 quarter wedge I would say.It had beat scales so I replaced them with these scales from anther Wosty. The strop was also a beater,so I re- leathered it.The red side has some vintage Rolls strop dressing and the other I was going to put Chromium Oxide, thanks to Chris L,right now it is treated with a few drops of Budwiser beer,I lest it out during one of my beer sessionsI love the looks of this razor, but wedges aren't for me.Still debating whether to put it on the chopping block as a set.I shaved with it once with alsome results, but I like full hollows better.

The storage feature is certainly novel. I'm surprised it was never drilled for hanging, very nice.

it's a nice razor and if you want to keep one wedge for a variety it's a pretty good choice. or you can have somebody else who'd appreciate it more have it. can't go wrong either way.

I agree... it is a pitty to grind a nice wedge like that just because you don't fancy them as much. Sorry to say so... but it the blade required a grinding to extend it's life I would understand but it is fine! A IXL razor is a nice razor...
The strop is great! And the little drawer for the razor is really a novel thing. Looks very nice! Great find!
