    Default ALASKAM HUNTING TRIP pics

    While in Anchorage my #1 thing to do was go hunting. Antique style, for what other than ST8Ts. After 2 days of fighting the elements, in cold,sleet and snow,(actually the weather has been great) I bagged my limit. One beautiful, unshaved, DD Goldedge Pearl Duck. What is even more amazing is that after stropping on newspaper I got a good shave. Mind you I left my hones and strop at home. The plan was to use my DE this week so I did bring all the essentials, badger,scuttle,TOOBS sandlewood cream. This AM however I checked the sharpness of the blade again and couldn't resist. Here she is

    Yeah, very nice. Good to see one with a majority (if not all) of the goldwash, and the color in the tang stamps.
