Thanked: 6biggest disappointment on ebay
Hello Guys,
Today I had my biggest disappointment on ebay.
I had won this auction:
http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&it em=250410075629
And just thought I was the luckiest guy alive. Because my max bid was a lot higher then what it went for.
Now it arrived today and it is a WACKER . Yes it keeps getting better. But then I see the big crack.
It is about 1 cm from the heel and it is big (8-9mm). But of coarse not big enough to see on a blurry photo.
So to get me out of my depression what where your biggest disappointments on ebay?

ow that you say it i can see the crack on the picture and the 'wacker' on the case.
you can probably get back your money, i don't know if it's worth the hassle and certainly not the return shipping which you may end up paying.
but now you know to ask questions, so it's not all that bad at the end of the day

Thanked: 6Yes I know but I asked if he would combine shipping and if the blades had any sort of damage (chips, cracks or severe rust). He replied that he would combine shipping. I should have thought about the other question but I forgot. The site also it says
In zeer goede staat / En très bon état
That means "in very good condition" in stead of very big crack. Its not that I'm angry because of the money because I've got beer that costs more . But it was just a big disappointment when it arrived.

I tried to access the picture and I was unable to see it.
I once bought a Pyramid Straight Razor at a very nice price. When it arrived, I began to hone it and a piece popped out of the edge, near the heel of the blade. I had looked it over, perfunctorily and I was satisfied everything was okay, then the 'ping' of the piece leaving the blade.
There you go. Live and learn. Whatever...
