Just wanted to say thanks the Leighton for being both the spotter and sniper on this. A B.J. Eyer Half Hollow. Circa 1876?

So it was you! I was going to bid, but I forgot to. Prolly a good thing, as the bank account is hurting at the moment. I can't believe anything that says "for barber's use" sold so low.

Was that the "smallish" (I mean small for a barber's blade) with a fair amount of pitting?

I am not sure. I know that I did not really look at it because of the name and the fact that I thought the W & B barbers use would go for more than $49.
