    Here is an old post showing Sham's CF hones. What I found is that the photos can be deceiving because they tend to lighten the color of the stones. They really are olive green IME with figuring in them. There may be more or less figure and it may be more or less, lighter or darker. There are black specks here and there in the two that I have seen up close and personal. Slow cutters both but I only used them with water. I've heard oil is the way to go with them.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    I could not think of a better way to describe them. C.F.'s were traditionally used with oil. However I feel oil and swarf tend to form a layer on top of the stone that reduces the cutting speed.
