Thread: Teak-a-Pollozza

Driving home from a job today.
spotted a place that sells old growth teak
and I have been thinking about makeing a set of teak scales
So I go in and start talking to the owner . And he thought it was really neat what I was talking about. Not only does he deal in teak but other woods as well .
But I was just looking for enuff to make a set of scales
next thing you know hes just giving me peices . Like saying "here this ones old growth" , "this ones Real old growth " . And the man has never meet me before and just gave me enuff to make about 500 pairs of scales .
And never charged me a cent .
Im not the kind of person who likes taking stuff for free
and I was just amazed at how much he gave me.
But he does have some nice African Rosewood so next time im just going to give him money and run with the wood .
Hope this story didnt sound stupied but I just had to share .
