Boker Elite - Local find
Here's another local find CarrieM picked up for me this past Saturday at an antique shop. All it took was a little cleaning and honing to get it to this point. Shaved with it yesterday, what a killer shave! I probably could not have afforded it if it was listed on EBay. Flea market and antique shop prices are the best if you look around!!

Beautiful, and looks like an undamaged MOP tang, too! Great find.

Even those great pictures don't do her justice. She looks soooo sweet in person.

Thank you. No damage anywhere on the blade, scales or tang. We both feel very lucky to find this Boker in the condition it is in. Just to be fair and not mislead anyone, we do work very hard and spend a lot of time searching flea markets and antique shops. Most of the time we don't find anything or leave with project razors. Currently time is more available than money, but everything costs something.

I have a Boker with undamaged MOP scales, but the blade has heavy hone wear toward the toe. It says "Samson" in gold on the blade. Not sure what to do with it, but have thought of putting another fine Boker blade in those pristine MOP scales. Don't have the skill yet, though. Maybe someday I will find a perfect MOP scales razor at a flea market, but sort of doubt it! Great find on your and Carrie M's part. I always enjoy your stories and great photos.

Good find. It does look like the Wilbert I found about a week ago. Interesting.
