    Default Antique shop finds

Picked up 5 razors today, these four are the better ones, chances are they will all be going up for sale if any one is interested.

The top one 'The Dominion' is a 6/8 and a fairly heavy grind, maybe a quarter hollow. The second one the garantie paris is a smaller version of a razor I already have, it was a bear to hone but it took a great edge and I expect this one to as well, it's a near as damn it wedge.

The kropp and the Elsine are both hollow grinds. One of the scales on the elsine has split a little, but I think it could be glued back.

Pretty happy with them over all.

Those are very nice Greg, congratulations.

They seem to be in pretty well condition.

All look like good shavers. The Kropp would be my pick; the last one I honed gave a really nice shave. Luck and a discerning eye can find treasures nobody else would notice.

The kropp took a real nice edge once I'd got a couple of little nicks out, and the dominion as well. A shave test and they will be away I think.

Excellent score! Another antique shop feeds the RAD! If you have the time to venture out and check the flea markets and antique shops you may be surprised at what you may find and be pleasantly surprised at the price.

he place I got these from I've bought 7 or 8 razors from now. The guy holds them back for me and I go in once a week. He had a strop as well but it was pretty tatty.

I find that because I'm young, long hair, leather jacket, bike gear etc some of them just don't give me the time of day, the old guy there though is a really nice guy and takes some interest in it all.
