Default Razor lots - What did you get in the lot?

CarrieM and I just purchased a razor lot (not from EBay) and expect delivery soon. We will post comments and pics after they arrive. Right now I have RAD really bad waiting for them to arrive and thought you guys may be able to help get me through it until they arrive with some stories of your own.

How many of us have purchased razor lots, what did you get and how many of them did you keep?

Tell us about your razor lot buying experiences, I an eager to read about them.

    Nice idea! Thanks for asking!

Just small lots, here, ranging from 2 to 6 razors. I don't like to sell blades (I think I do a better work buying ) so I accept to purchase a lot only when I am really interested to buy a blade which comes in the lot (usually a very old Sheffield). Actually, I still have to understand what to do with the other blades of my small lots [I know, you have some suggestions for me.. like "ship everything here" ].

hone them up and sell them on, the money you get back will buy your next lot!

Thanks for your suggestion, Gregs656! I'll have to start to sell those extra-blades, otherwise I'm going to live in a museum! .....

I've purchased a couple of lots. The first was a lot of 3, which included a Genco fluid steel, a very nice Fama star works, and one interesting historical relic--a Japanese "World's Fair 1893" razor. This was a home run...

Another 5 razor lot was much sketchier. I only got 2 barely restorable no-name blades and 4 sets of scales....but it was cheap.

I get so side tracked by old sheffields in lots that its not funny anymore.
Now I've installed a pre warning system to prevent my 3/8" box from overflow.
