Hess #44 Stainless
I picked this one up today. It's in very good condition. I intend on posting it to the wiki but have to measure the blade.

Since moving to Minneapolis, the Hess 44 has moved to the top of my list. I've always wanted one, but after moving here I would like to add this to my "local collection" which includes 1 Bowdin at the moment.
Great find!

You've done very well finding this Hess and the King Cutter! This one looks NOS! Congrats on another great find! I've got two of these and they are great shavers! Good luck on it's sale, not that you'll need it. If you don't have one yet take it for a spin, you may decide to keep it.

Very nice looking piece, as Joed mentioned, looks to be as close to NOS as they get.

For sale? I'm planning on keeping this one.
Hess Hair Milk Laboratories St. Paul, MN Solingen
Hess is a business still in operation and is technically located in Roseville, MN a suburb of St. Paul. They no longer sell shaving supplies but continue to sell their "Hair Milk" which I understand to be a hair tonic that contains some form of dye to take out the gray. My local old time barber has some on his shelf.

Nice pair you just picked up Chris. The RAD is in bloom for me too.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

My mistake. I read you were going to post it and read right over 'the WIKI'. I can't get enough of this blade and I don't feel that two is enough. It would be nice to have a set of seven! As I would say to CarrieM should she say I already have two, "I only have two!" I'm sure you will find this blade to be an excellent shaver.
