    Default New arrivals

I've been looking for some special straights for a year now. All of them have come available very recently. So I made some room, found new homes for three of mine, and brought in... The Replacements.

Here they are: J. Breidohr Les+++Croix (NOS), Filarmonica 13 Doble Temple 6/8 (NOS), Le Grelot 1/4 grind 6/8 Ebony... The last photo is of the mirror polish on the Le Grelot.

Thanks! And believe me, I KNOW what drooling, pining, wanting, coveting, etc. is. I go through it every day geeking through the forums here.

Despite all the craving that comes up for me when folks post their beautiful new acquisitions, I love looking at the pics, too.

I'm new to this game and haven't seen a ton of razors, but I think the Le Grelot is probably my favorite, in terms of the way the blade shape looks. Very nice lot you have there.

What razors!? How about that beautiful hone they are covering up! (just kidding, I had to wipe my chin after looking at your razor pics too, but still wonder about that nice hone-coticule?

Thanks, actually it's not a coticule. It's a Nakayama Kiita, also recently acquired.

I fear that there is going to be a Nakayama in my future, then, and it will not come cheap!! Thank you.

Those are some great razors. Very sought after. The Les Croix razors, in particular, that i've seen on the bay are always fiercely contested over.

I know. They go for big prices, too. In person, they're beautiful. But, I have yet to win a single ebay razor auction. Every time I think I'm close, I miss it at the very end. I've just got lucky lately and found things at the right moment outside of auctions. Someday I'll get the hang of ebay.

Man those are some nice looking razors. I'm jealous and I have my own Filly on the way. Those Croix whatever razors are awesome... who has the NOS?
