Joed gave this an overnight soak in simple green and water, got alot of built up grit and oil out of this. It's not as glassy smooth at is first appeared to be and it is a much lighter color. I will try to get some new pics of it posted within the next couple of days. He told me he did try lapping it more tonight and it started getting shiny again.. I am sure we will figure out what this is eventually. Just have to try it on a razor and see what it does.

The Croaker wishes he had the Bullfrog!

Hey!! I've been to the Clarence flea market and I never saw any of that stuff! Now I can't even go because I am sure you cleaned them out!!!

Sorry. If you if see them at the flea market they wouldn't have looked like what I pictured. If they looked that good I probably would have had to pay a lot more and would have come home with less.
It all depends on who is there when you go. There probably would be more if you look hard enough. Good luck!“If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” (A. Einstein)

Ya know, sometimes I am just soooo slow or out in left field. Sorry. CarrieM explained your comment to me on the way to work and I was just dumbfounded.
If I ever let the Bull Frog go I will be sure you are the first to know. JrJOeD and I shaved with it last night. It was a great shave!“If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” (A. Einstein)

Thanked: 137I have an identical one of those Morley's - great shaver, just a shame that it's got a taste for my blood. Plus I've decided I like heavier grinds, so it's getting a bit neglected currently.

Thanks for the feed back on the Morley. I haven't shaves with it yet. The flea market and antique shop finds are coming in too fast for me to shave with them all. If I don't bring any more home for the next few weeks I should get to it. To be honest, I don't see that happening yet.
