Thread: Major HAD from SRD..!

Well, I'd been umm-ing and ahh-ing about it for a while but I finally pulled the trigger on some hones from SRD. And when I say "some" what I actually mean is five...

They arrived yesterday so when I got home from work there was a nice big parcel waiting for me..!

I got the 1/4/8/16k Shaptons and a DMT 325 grit, plus some 0.5 diamnod spray. I`m in the process of making a denim paddle strop to use with the spray. The Shaptons look great and the Stephens Woodworking base that they come with is solid, well made and has a lovely smell of woodwork as well...! I think they should bottle that smell and sell it as a mens cologne. Along with Eau de Gunshot Residue, which is another smell I love..!

I've attached (hopefully!) a pic of my set up now, and I'll sling up a pic of the paddle strop when its done..!
