    Default My first Straight Razor!

    Hi, Everyone.

    I picked up my first straight razor.

    I'm not an expert on these matters but this is a little info:

    GEORGE WOSTENHOLM & SON
    Successors to George Wostenholm in 1823 ("Old Sheffield Razors" by Lummus. Antiques, December 1922 p.261-267)
    Rockingham Works ca. 1694 - 1847
    Washington Works, Sheffield ca. 1847 - at least 1991

    Straight Razor Manufacturers and Dates of Operation

    Are you going to clean it up, get it honed and use it?

    that is beautiful...i love the smoking pipe on the tang..sorry if it's not the correct term! can't wait to see that razor sharp, and buffed! good luck!
