    Default Junk Store Joseph Elliot

    My folks went on vacation and found this in a junk store in Dolores, CO for $15 and brought it back to me as a gift.

    On the tang: Joseph Elliot's Best Silversteel
    On the blade: "An Excellent Razor"
    Scales: Appear to be wood, in need of a sanding.
    Grind: Looks like a 1/4

    I'm not sure I'm too fond of the taper from heel to toe. Were razors ever made that way, or is this from bad honing?
