Default Found a cheap synthetic brush

Was at a local mall today, and found a synthetic shaving brush for 11 bucks at a place called the body shop. I had to buy it at that price, I havent used it yet (will tomorrow), but the tips feel surprisingly soft.

Below its pictured by a Tweezerman (obviously) and a Shavemac 177...for comparisons sake.

I've used that brush for quite some time now. It works for me very well.

Good to know someone else has it. I like the handle on it.

They have a real nice shave cream too. Its called Maca Root and sells for about $16.00, works great for me.

    Good luck with the brush!

Makes an excellent travel brush as it dries almost immediately.

Go back and get a sample of the Maca Root SC. Great stuff! I too have the brush but have yet to use it.

I had one. It was great for traveling as they dry VERY quickly. Unfortunately I left it at a motel. Called & e-mailed them but they never got back to me. But at $11 I'll probably get another when I plan the next trip. I liked it very well w/ cream but not as much w/ soap.

I just bought the Maca root yesterday but haven't tried it yet as I also got a cream from Clinique and used it with wonderful results it is like Proraso with a nice mild scent and very slick and makes great lather IMO. I was also looking at that brush and after reading this thread I will try one for my travel brush it is very soft and for 11 bucks you can't go wrong

Omega Syntex is a good synthetic brush as well, about the same price range. I get better lather with it than with natural hair brushes. It is the only brush I use ATM.
