Default Slight RAD, boxed pair of Keen razors.

    ebay# 380176929354

I hate Blackberry phones, especially when they are connected to my wi-fi network at home. I also hate ebay...

Was having a surf while getting my daughter to sleep, put in a few bids then found out I'd won when I fired up my laptop. Nice, always fancied a box set - dunno what the strop is like.

Anyways, here's a few pics from the fleabay ad - will post some better ones when I get them. Hopefully will be decent shavers.

Those Butler's are great shavers, and that is also a very cool set. I've never seen a set like that before. Congrats!

Thanks, I've never seen anything like that before either - what caught my eye was the strop, I was after a small strop for when I go to the inlaws and this will do perfect.

Really surprised it didn't go for a lot more (bid on a pair of W&B's earlier on but they went for more than I was prepared to pay). I reckon it's because they are from Old Blighty so finished on my time scale and not past 3am (GMT) in the morning when normal British folks are fast a-kip lol.

I'd better wipe my watch list which is mostly French ebay (there's a Grelot on there plus other.. Heads up anyone?)

Not sure what the scales are made of, only just bought them pending paypal transactions going through.
Tha fleabay ad said... "BOXED PAIR OF KEEN RAZORS, 1884 WITH STROP" so dunno if they are from the year 1884 or if that was a model number? If they are old they may well be Ivory - your guess is as good as mine till I see them in the flesh so to speak.

Judging by the thickness of the scales they may very well be ivory, In really good shape too.

forget the three from fleurdilis. i just returned those. the spartacus is worth something, but the rest are crap. and the "le grelot" isn't a le grelot it is a besse uzerche, a knife maker from france, not a deceased barber as she'll tell you.
