    Default The mailman has been good this week

    Got a bunch of stuff this week in the mail from the bay.

    First, I got this IXL. I was pretty happy until I noticed the 1/4" crack in the blade. It's going to be shorted and turned into a japanese inspired western straight.





    Then came the C-Mon. The scales were pretty warped, but I pulled it apart and used my trusty heat gun to soften them and reshape'm. Needs a little sanding to get rid of the weird scratches that were in the blade, but nothing too serious.





    Lastly there is the Wusthof. I like this blade a lot but am not really digging the scales. Anyone know what Lampo refers to?





    Still have a Gold Dollar 208 and a Joseph Rodgers on the way for razors. My Naniwas shipped yesterday and should be here early next week. The hardest part is waiting.

    Those are some mighty purple scales on that CMon Looks like some nice razors congrats
