Default Latests addition to the collection...

Below are some pictures of my wheeling and dealing that I did today. I got these three razors for $25. All need some work, but they are the largest in my collection so far.

This is the 7/8 WB with transparent scales. Someone scratched a name into the scales, but they aren't deep and I believe that I can buff them out.

The next one is a Joseph Elliot 6/8 with "Fine India Steel" on the blade. I believe it has bone scales(?), correct me if I am wrong. The scale is worn on the end and has a chip out of it and a few minor chips in the edge.
It is a really heavy blade.

And finally, a Jackson 7/8 with brown plastic(?) scales. The rust is just on surface and can easily be cleaned off. I liked the size of the bladee and the brown scales.

That concludes my shopping trip for the day. Merry Christmas to all!!!

The scales on the Elliot are horn not bone. Love the scales on the W&B

I would image that you should be able to find quite a few antique shops around you. I lived in Rome, NY for a couple of years and quite often small towns have shops. I kind of miss living in Rome, but I ceretainly don't miss the cold weather. Today it is going to be close to 80. I changed into shorts already. Have a great Christmas!

Barber's notch, which some also call Spanish point but I think they look different.

The Elliot has the barber's notch. It looks like the W&B is a spike point to me
