Thanks guys, I am quite thrilled with it.

It really is in nice shape. I only plan to (try to) repair the horn delamination and buff up the scales, then hone and shave. I like the patina on the blade--it's even and the etching is still legible, so it stays for now.

I've got my brother out hunting the other shops for me--fingers crossed for more goodies!

Whoo! Gorgeous razor you found!! Makes my heart patter every time I find a pile of razors in a junk/antique place.... and when you find an beautiful old monster like that... well, I turn as white as a ghost. My family comes hunting with me, just to see my reaction when I find something.

I mean... why would you want that razor? They're so big they're only good for propping open doors and such... But I'll recoup your loss at 75%, since I'm such a generous guy.
