That is truly an amazing story and find, in Quartzite of all places! I thought that it existed only to sell expensive gas and bad food to interstate travellers, and had not heard about their swap meet. Congratulations. I had a Dubl Duck Dwarf that honed up into an outstanding, not just good, shaver. Yours looks to be in good shape except for what might be some rust near the edge on one side. Hope after you clean it up the the edge metal is good and not pitted.

haha yea bad food and expensive gas its about a 4hr drive from tucson for me. i guess they have a rv show/swap meet every year around this time not sure if the swap meets are every weekend. i saw an old henckels at one of the tents and he wanted way too much for what he had. took a couple days to sift through all the old crap they had in quartzsite but my brother got the nice find with his case & sons gotta get pics of it.

Nice find indeed. I have several DD Dwarfs and the one that I've honed happens to be one of my favorite shavers as well.

Thanks Nate! Looks like it will be open until January 25th. Maybe I will be able to get out there. I Googled the Quartzite Swap Meet and and found this:
The seasonal swap meet is open from November through the end of February but the main show is January 10th - 25th. The "Main Event" is located close to Exit 17 on the North side of Interstate 10. The cross streets are Main Street and Quartzsite Blvd.

Nice Razor. I just picked one up this weekend that says: twin duck DWARF and Bresnick New York SOLINGEN GERMANY with picture of the ducks in the center. I thought it was funny it said twin duck instead of dubl duck.

Croaker: when i found them they were near the truck stop a little northwest of it i think it was the pilot truck stop. and a few more were right across from the truckstop. the vendor tents were spaced out a bit so rummiging through isnt too hard keep an eye open for alot of the gun sellers they had a few too.

Miner: thats a nice find im just getting into the dublducks and trying to figure out the models and years of them.

Chris: im hoping to send out my dublduck and my henckels to be worked on so i can use them. i bought a razor from max in vegas for my brother that was awesome. my brother wont even use it says its way too nice lol.
