Thread: Wowzers!

I just received my new brush from vintageblades, a Rooney 3/1:


Wow does this baby work way better than the Wally-brush I was using! It lathered up almost instantly, as compared to the minute or so it took me with the old one. And so much more soft! I am incredibly glad I spent the money on this one (only $37, but still).

I also received an Anchor Brand straight from LarryAndro, which shaves very nicely. With the aid of his poor man's strop kit and about 2 hours, I was able to resurect a James Barlow and Sons using the chromium oxide side of the balsa-strop. What a chore that was.

You've got a nice den started! Mine looked like that for a month or two and then it spiraled out of control, lol

Its amazing the difference a good brush makes to your lather!
