    Default Dove REGd

    That title should say DOVO, not Dove, but it seems titles are not editable.

    I stopped by one of the not-junk shops in Guelph on the way home from class today hoping to find something to practice scaling on. Aside form the horribly frowning and distempered blades at one shop there was nothing to see. The man behind the desk at the last stop did manage a piece form the back though so here it is. There is a big old chip out of one scale but the pins are fine despite my desire to rescale something I might leave these on. The blade has a few chunks out too. I've tried restoring 3 or 4 razors so far but this is the first one with a significant amount of metal left so I'm optimistic.

    Work the edge back to life and enjoy, those old Dovo's are good razors. And if you feel it needs rescaled then knock it out. Enjoy!! Nice find
