    Default Glad I Stopped

So, as I had some time to kill before the Rochester Mini-meet, I stopped into a local antique shop to see if they had razors. Unfortunately there were none to be found so I went out to the truck and called Dylan to see if it would be o.k. to stop over a little early.

As I was leaving the parking lot I saw a sign pointing across the road to an old office building that said Estate Sale. I'm thinking there's probably nothing there but seeing as I had time I pulled in.

There's not much stuff there. Just one large room and it looks like it's been picked over pretty well but on a shelf in the corner I see the familiar shape of a straight razor coffin.

It looks mangled and I'm thinking there's probably nothing in it.

But I opened it up and what do I find?

    I'm glad I stopped.

    Nice score!
I gotta get out of Manhattan more. Don't have too many estate sales or antique shops with razors here

I would imagine if there was an estate sale in Manhattan it would be quite the estate sale.

Just.....damn! Of all the luck to find a Boker Red Injun! No better shaver than that, IMO, when properly honed. I am sincerely jealous.

I got to see that injun up close at the mini meet. It's a very nice razor Congrats Miner!
