Bokers are very good razors, and are still made today. Make sure its honed properly before you use it.

Welcome to SRP. That is a good razor from the early part of the last century if I'm not mistaken. There is a chart with the different tree logos that will tell you what period it was made. You really should have it honed by a pro before you attempt to shave with it. Since you are in Canada maybe forum member floppy shoes would be close by you .... I'm not sure but I think he is up your way. Here is a link to his ad in the member services.
Make sure to check out the SRP Wiki here for the beginner's guide, videos on shaving and all the info you need to maintain and shave with your straight razor. Ask any questions you may have and someone on the forum will no doubt be able and willing to help out.Last edited by JimmyHAD; 03-31-2010 at 11:39 PM.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
